MOBEL LINEA, S.L. is one of the leading manufacturers in Spain for office furniture systems and seating. It is a family business that was set up by Ramon Balcells, Jaume Salvadó and Manel Sàrries in 1973, who decided to run their own company after working for a few years for a local manufacturer. It is based in Cervera, a small town at 90 km. from Barcelona, in the region of Catalonia, northeast of Spain.

Ever since its creation, Mobel Linea's growth has been steadily increasing, which has allowed the company to build a solid base. Our aim is to meet our client’s requirements to the highest levels.

At present, Mobel Linea, S.L., with a workforce of 275 people is able to face new challenges with the self-confidence that our clients will be delivered quickly and effectively without leaving quality behind.

The manufacturing units consist of:
Mobel I, with 40.000 square metres is engaged in the production of office and collective furniture and seating. This is where the main offices are located.
Mobel II, with 7.000 square metres and various warehouses used as stock depots.
Mobel III, with 3.000 square metres, operates as the factory for all our metal components, such as chair frames.

Our latest development is 7.000 square metres of intelligent warehousing for the handling and storage of raw materials and finished products, with a capacity for 33.000 euro pallets.

In addition, there are 100.000 square metres of land beside our premises, where future development is planned for the building of new offices.

A fleet of 35 lorries and 15 trailers guarantees delivery of our products to our dealers in time and in perfect conditions to their final destinations.

For the creation of new ranges. Mobel Linea, S.L. owes its success to the constant contact and feedback from our dealers to suit their needs in office furniture equipment.

There is constant reinvesting in high technology machinery, which is able to carry out the most demanding shapes and finishes at affordable prices.

The total check up over our production process supervised by our own quality control department provides us with the necessary information to improve quality and service. In 2001, we achieved ISO 9001:2000 standard for the quality systems carried out at the factory. Mobel Linea products are manufactured according to European standards and this has been certified by Aidima, the Technological Institute for furniture and furniture components (Valencia). Aidima is a member of the EU Technical Committee for furniture (UEA), together with FIRA (UK) and other representative organisations all over Europe. Mobel Linea, S.L. is actively involved with the protection of the environment, natural resources and their staff health and safety. This compromise goes beyond the sheer compliance with the environmental legislation; that is why a new system for the management of quality systems and environmental issues has been established. This system is under the ISO 14001 standard that has recently been achieved.
